Upgrade Instructions

Upgrading

If you are running version 2.5 or later of CloudShark you can upgrade by running the following command:

cloudshark-admin --install-latest

Upgrading from CloudShark 2.4 and earlier

If you are running a 2.4 or earlier version of CloudShark you will have to run an additional script to upgrade completely.

This will perform a safe stop of the CloudShark service before upgrading.

su -
bash <(curl get.cloudshark.org/upgrade2.5)

The CloudShark upgrade process is version aware and a message will be displayed if this special upgrade is skipped - a regular upgrade will notice this requirement and safely abort.
