If you are a Meraki Managed Service Provider, you can use CloudShark to showcase your IT troubleshooting across the entire Meraki product lineup. When combined with CloudShark, Meraki’s built-in packet capture lets you pull a capture file from any Meraki device in the customer network and analyze the problem in CloudShark’s web interface.
CloudShark’s analysis capabilities allow you to annotate and share your value add experience with the end customer. This is a compelling way to communicate with your end customer and allow the end customer to see packet data with requiring them to install any additional software.
CloudShark offers several solutions for Meraki MSPs.
Sign up for a Meraki CloudShark account. This is a monthly CloudShark SaaS subscription which includes a 30 day free trial. This account provides an API key and CloudShark URL which can be configured in the dashboard for all of your Meraki customers, letting you share packet capture data and analysis simply and instantly.
Since your hosted Meraki CloudShark account is tied to your email address, you control if and when capture files are shared with customers.
If you wish to provide your end customers with their own CloudShark accounts, you can deploy CloudShark Enterprise. Our Enterprise edition provides a number of user and group management features which enable several different deployment models, as well as advanced features like RSA key management. The CloudShark Appliance is an on-premise solution which can deployed on either our PCA1000 hardware platform, your virtual machine infrastructure, or a cloud service such as Amazon EC2 or Linode.
